This is by no means a new song. I'm pretty sure it came out in 2011, one of the stand-outs from the hugely successful album Barton Hollow. But for some reason, this week I can't stop listening to it, or the rest of The Civil Wars' catalog, for that matter. And the lyrics are gorgeous. Something about their music just makes me want to take a very long walk through the last of the falling ginkgo leaves, a little drizzle in my hair and a chill in the wind, bundled up in my plaid scarf and not thinking about anything major in the world, even if it's just for a few minutes. In fact, I think I'll go do that right now.
